Golf Fees Plan. How does it work?
A year’s subscription fee may be spread over a period of monthly payments. Members’ repayments commence on the 1st day of the club’s subscription year (or up to 1 month early). Renewal for next year is automatic. We pay the year’s fees in full later during the month of first collection.
The period of members’ repayment is set by the club to ensure maximum affordability coupled to minimum risk. We have 11 year’s experience in helping clubs achieve both aims within a low-cost member charge. There is no cost to the club.
Bar Swipe Card Deposits
Swipe card deposits can be a nuisance to collect and administer. At no extra cost to the club, we can collect deposits separately from the members’ first repayment, eliminating the delay before members can start using their cards. Consider an example for Fulford Heath Golf Club and their preference for a 9-month plan for subscriptions that commence in April. Example:
- Members' 1st repayment and swipe card deposit collected on April 1st
- Club receives all swipe card deposits in full on April 3nd
- 200 Swipe cards uploaded immediately
- Service charge rate to member 6% plus £8 plan admin fee
- Members' repayments finish on December 1st (before end of year)
- Automatic renewal of the following years fees.
What is our arrears policy?
Intelligent plan design (appropriate choice of plan repayment period) coupled to tight credit control led by a dedicated account manager confirm why so many golf clubs entrust their collection to us.
What about other club fees?
As an accredited BACS Bureau, we can streamline the collection of other non-monthly plan fees direct to the club's bank account. Examples range from small value social-member fees to full 7-day, 5-day, country members, leisure-section, tennis-section, bowls-section, etc. Annually repetitive fees like this are well suited to electronic collection via BACS on the opening day of the club's subscription year.
