Golf Fees Plan FAQs

When does the golf club receive payment of fees?

We settle the total plan fees at the end of the month in which the fist monthly collection is made. For late applicants, we settle in the month the firs collection is made.

And bar scheme deposits?

Most of our clients with bar schemes choose to illustrate the deposit separately from the main subscription fee. Just imagine, if you had 200 direct debit plan members, we would collect 200 x £50 deposits on the opening day of the club year. Three days later we remit £10,000 by same-day transfer to the club bank a/c, allowing the swipe cards to be uploaded that evening. Members are happy that they can access their card with the minimum of delay.

How can a late-applicant member enter a plan?

There is no closing date for new members. For example, an April-month club with 9 payment-months might shift to 8 payments in May, 7 in June, and so on. All member payments must complete before the start of the following club year.

How do you handle joining fees?

There are several possible options we are happy to discuss with you.

How does your Treasury Facility work?

If you don't need immediate payment of fees you can elect to leave the fees with us for a minimum of 40 days (max. 200 days) and we credit interest at Bank Base Rate plus 0.5%, daily compounding.

How do you handle missed payments?

A failed payment (lack of funds) is automatically represented within 14 days. Almost all are paid in full. For the few that register a second failure, or where a member cancels a direct debit instruction, this triggers a personal letter to the member (with copy to you.) seeking resolution within 10 days. The club is always kept informed. We stress to the member their obligation to make all the repayments. The club is ultimately liable for any uncollected payments, however, but for most clubs this is a rare event.

How do I register the club?

Simply contact us at golf@feescompany.co.uk  or call 0131 449 8844.     We can supply the relative agreement and plan stationery within 7 days.
